You can report a potential error in the steps count by clicking on the small paper-and-pen icon located on the upper right-handed side of the steps page and choose:

• Accurate: the steps count is correct.
• More: you made more steps than registered by the App.
• Less: you made less steps than registered by the App.

If the steps count is correct, select Accurate and submit your feedback.

If you feel you made more or fewer steps than registered by the App, select More or Less and manually change the number of the actual steps. You can also choose a Comparison object and a Usage scenarios to add details to the feedback.
